1.Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the GearOn app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction), have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2.Description of Service

GearOn is an online marketplace platform that connects car owners with independent vehicle-care mechanics in Bangladesh. GearOn facilitates the discovery and booking of services but is not itself a vehicle repair or maintenance service provider.

3.User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4.Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or mechanics.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission.

5.Mechanic Services & Payments

GearOn acts as an intermediary between car owners and mechanics. All service agreements are between the car owner and the mechanic. GearOn is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the services provided by mechanics listed on the platform. Payment terms and pricing are displayed in-app and subject to change.

6.Ratings & Reviews

Users may leave honest ratings and reviews for mechanics and services. Reviews must be truthful and based on real experiences. GearOn reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms or that are deemed fraudulent or abusive.

7.Intellectual Property

The GearOn name, logo, app design, and all related content are the exclusive property of GearOn. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

8.Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GearOn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

11.Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will update the “Last updated” date when changes are made. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
